The Atherton York response to Coronavirus


As a responsible employer and service provider, we took the decision to halt face-to-face interactions and collective working practices before instructed to do so by the Government. We had already rehearsed our business continuity working arrangements and found that remote working was not a problem.


We are fully operational and have even noted some benefits in remote working which we plan to integrate into our regular schedule when things return to normal. We are available and here to help. Please note that some response times may, naturally, be a little longer than before.

All our people remain fully employed during this period and we have no need to call on Government aid or to furlough staff. We view this as a valuable opportunity to spend time on activities that we may not ordinarily had the opportunity to do, and in doing so to emerge on the other side better prepared to deal with the undoubted challenges that we will face.


During this time we plan to speak to every single client, to offer reassurance, guidance and advice. If we have not already been in touch, please expect our call or contact shortly.
